On January 10, 1929, the first edition of the comic “The Adventures of Tintin” appeared the youth supplement of the Belgian newspaper “Le Vingtième Siècle” (The Twentieth Century). Created by Belgian cartoonist Georges Remi, it centers around the protagonist of a courageous young Belgian reporter and adventurer named Tintin, and aided by his dog Snowy. The comic series grew into international success and has been published in more than 70 languages and more than 200 million copies have been sold
