Ever noticed how in the word "Ar-Raḥmān" (ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ), the alif is stretched? That’s the Tajweed rule of Madd Aṣlī (Natural Madd). 👉 It’s a simple but powerful rule: when a long vowel (ا, و, ي) comes without a hamzah (ء) or sukoon after it, we stretch it exactly 2 counts — not less, not more.
