When we say, “Create in me a clean heart,” clean means pure, clear, uncontaminated, morally innocent, and holy. Ask God to remove anything in your heart that doesn’t align with Him— like a full clearing-out rather than just a temporary fix. “Renew a right spirit,” renew means to make new or rebuild, and “right” is about being properly set up or established, like standing perpendicular.
