This underwater cleanup footage from the Menominee River was captured in May 2023 and I just finally edited it! You can see how lost fishing line and hooks (on lures) impact the water life. I LOVE FISHING ❤️🎣, but I never knew about this impact until I began scuba diving and cleaning up waterways across the MidWest. Every year, I find SEVERAL fish, mud puppies and crawfish tangled up in line and hooked up. My hope is that I can reach them in time to set them free, but it doesn’t always work tha
