🪱🐦‍⬛ This gorgeous fieldfare was seen by Rangers Ben & Tara last week at Newbiggin. We spotted this bird foraging ahead of us on the coast path, just in time for us to stay hidden and let it focus on the worms! 🌊 Finding a fieldfare so close to the sea, it likely just landed after a long migration, travelling from northern and eastern Europe. 🌱 Alongside worms fieldfares love berries, and the number of these birds wintering in the UK each year depends on berry crops nearby to breeding ground
