Warfare is an incredibly authentic Iraq War action/drama from the writer/director team of Alex Garland (Civil War, Ex Machina) and Ray Mendoza, and Iraq War veteran who is retelling this story from his own memories. The young cast is stacked with star talent, the technical filmmaking is super impressive, the sound design is Oscar worthy, and it’s a harrowing experience that I think everyone needs to watch.
