Inductee Jackson Browne was stumped finishing the lyrics to "Take It Easy." Luckily, in the apartment above his lived fellow Inductee Glenn Frey. Frey loved the sound and as Jackson started playing the unfinished verse for him, Glenn added: “It’s a girl, my lord, in a flatbed Ford, slowin’ down to take a look at me.” The song became the Eagles' debut single and a longtime fan favorite.
