Bell 47G-MASH It is a light, single-engine, two-bladed main rotor helicopter, manufactured by Bell Helicopter. It is based on the third prototype of the Model 30, Bell's first helicopter designed by Arthur M. Young. The Bell 47 became the first helicopter certified for civilian use on March 8, 1946.
