In the Dragon Ball series, the character Android 8, often referred to as Eighter, was the creation of Dr. Gero. This android, with a physical resemblance to Frankenstein's monster, made his debut during the Red Ribbon Army storyline.

Dr. Flappe (フラッペ 博 はか 士 せ Furappe Hakase) is the creator of Android 8 and, involuntarily, a chief researcher for the Red Ribbon Army. The doctor has puffy gray hair, tanned skin, and wears a yellow coat. He also wears glasses and has a long mustache.

Android #8 is the only Android to appear in all three series; Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball GT. A character created for Dragon Ball Online resembles Android 8, and located on it's armor is the number "8000".

Nov 16, 2016 · I think seeing Android 8, or Eighter (whatever you wanna call him) was just a nice bit of fan service. He was a recurring character in the Red Ribbon Army Saga and was well received by fans. I liked seeing him again, but I don't think it means anything.
