The popular women's only dating advice app, which skyrocketed to the top of the app download charts last week, experienced a data breach Friday.

The app, which recently went viral, found thousands of user selfies and photo identification were accessed in a data breach, along with about 59,000 images from posts, comments and direct messages within the app.

Tea, a phone app where women can review dates with men so other women can leave comments, was hacked over the weekend and 13,000 user selfies and photo IDs were released. The company says it has hired cybersecurity experts to secure the systems.
