A procession with law enforcement officers is planned for the funeral of a Pennsylvania police officer who was shot and killed while responding to an attack on a hospital intensive care unit.

Diogenes Archangel-Ortiz was removed from the hospital by security the previous night following a diagnosis that there was no other treatment available for his wife, the official said.
