Days when '10 meteors an hour' will be visible in the night sky across UK this week
The Draconids, also referred to as Giacobinids, are expected to reach their zenith between Tuesday (October 8) and Wednesday (October 9). They are set to offer stargazers a sky spectacle that differs from the more common pre-dawn meteor displays; these shooting stars are most visible in the hours immediately following dusk, reports the Mirror.
