The NFL is using the Chiefs as its ultimate carrot once more, dangling them on the prime-time and streaming market in return for millions. You can almost picture it, a league executive sliding a sheet of paper across the table and a network producer unfolding it to read two scribbled words: “Patrick Mahomes.”

Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, Andy Reid and Co. have been to five of the last six Super Bowls, including each of the last three. They have taken home three Lombardi Trophies during that span, including in back-to-back years during the 2022 and 2023 campaigns, but will be trying to return to the top of the mountaintop in 2025.

The 2025 NFL schedule has been trickling out this week and on Wednesday morning one of the more intriguing matchups was announced as Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs will face Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day.
