Newcastle believe a full agreement to sign Anthony Elanga will be reached this weekend, with details emerging of the star Nott'm Forest wanted in return.

Newcastle United could welcome four new faces to St. James' Park next week. The Magpies have had a slow start to the summer transfer window, with Eddie Howe yet to significantly upgrade his starting lineup.

Elanga has been identified as another target with Newcastle boss Eddie Howe eager to add more quality and depth in the final third. Last week, they submitted an opening bid in the region of £45million but it was rejected by Forest. They have since upped their offer by another £10m and their latest proposal is set to be accepted.
