Hurricane Milton regained strength Tuesday afternoon and was upgraded to a Category 5 storm again with a path heading towards Florida.

Matthew Dominick is uniquely positioned to see the incredible magnitude of Hurricane Milton. That’s because the NASA astronaut is viewing it from space. Late Tuesday morning, Dominick share a few videos from aboard the Dragon Endeavour, flying over the tiny eyed monster as it barreled toward Florida.

NASA astronaut Matthew Dominick on Tuesday posted footage taken from the Dragon Endeavour spacecraft showing Hurricane Milton as it barreled toward the Florida coast. Writing on Twitter, Dominick explained how he got the opportunity to capture an orbital view of the hurricane.

The storm grew to a Category 5 hurricane Monday. Once it gets to Brevard late Wednesday or early Thursday, Milton is expected to be a Category 1 hurricane, with sustained winds of 74 to 95 miles per hour.
