Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones stepped into the Taylor Sheridan universe with an appearance on the penultimate episode of Landman ’s season one. The series starring Billy Bob Thornton as a crisis manager is set against the backdrop of the booming and rugged West Texas oil industry.

On Sunday’s latest episode, “WolfCamp,” which is the penultimate episode of the season, Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones made a surprise appearance as himself, and fans were somewhat stunned that he was able to hold his own against Hollywood veterans Jon Hamm and Billy Bob Thornton.

The Cowboys owner popped up in episodes of “Coach,” “Arli$,” “Entourage,” “Cubed” and “The League.” Jones also appeared in the 2024 documentary series about the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders. “Landman” streams on Paramount+ and will air its season finale on Sunday, Jan 12.
