Edmonton Oilers veteran Corey Perry set a new Stanley Cup Finals record that stood for 74 years when he tied Game 2 late in the third period.

After the euphoria in Edmonton in the wake of their Game 1 victory, the City of Champions is picking itself up after a Game 2 defeat. They lost a double-overtime heartbreaker to the Florida Panthers, who tied up the series 1-1.

Corey Perry is one of the NHL's longest tenured players, having been in the league since 2005. Now in his 20th season, the 40-year-old continues to prove he has plenty left in the tank, having been a key piece of the Edmonton Oilers' success this postseason.
