During his latest guest spot on the “ManningCast" the former NFL coach asserted that the Indianapolis Colts used fake crowd noise during a game at the RCA Dome.

On Tuesday, the Colts' owner fired back at Belichick's comments from Monday night's episode of ESPN's ManningCast. Belichick claimed Peyton Manning and the Colts used to pipe in crowd noise when his New England Patriots would come to town, then cited a time when the noise actually skipped.

Belichick was referring to a 2007 matchup between the Colts and Patriots where the league looked into an accusation that the Colts were pumping in fake crowd noise. The league and CBS both found that the issue was specific to the broadcast — where the crowd audio skipped — and not something people in the stadium were actually hearing.
