Houston singers Lizzo and Beyoncé have been pulled into the conversation surrounding actress Sydney Sweeney's American Eagle campaign. In a Thursday Instagram post, Lizzo reshared an AI generated photo of herself in a denim jumpsuit laying on her side with the caption, "My jeans are black..."

The ad itself features Sweeney in denim, musing about genetics before flashing a knowing smile. At one point, the camera pans downward. She interrupts: “Hey, eyes up here.” A wink, a joke, a reset. It was all part of the script.
