What We’re Tracking RED FLAG WARNING is in effect from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. today for all the counties in northeast Kansas. Clear sky and a light south wind overnight has kept us from dropping too much in temperature.

Gusty winds combined with low humidity means an increase in fire danger so L.A.’s red flag parking restrictions are in effect beginning at 8 a.m. If you park in the hilly or mountainous areas of the city, make sure to check the parking signs.
