United Nations, January 22 (RHC)-- The Panamanian government has complained to the United Nations over U.S. President Donald Trump's "worrying" threats to seize the Panama Canal after more than two decades of the Central American country’s control over the interoceanic waterway.

Panama has alerted the United Nations - in a letter seen by Reuters on Tuesday - to U.S. President Donald Trump's remarks during his inauguration speech, when he vowed that the United States would take back the Panama Canal.
