Cunningham has been with the Bears since 2022, and he's now interviewed for vacant GM jobs in the last three offseasons. That includes last year when he was passed over for the Washington Commanders Head of Football Ops job, which went to Adam Peters. Cunningham also reportedly turned down the Arizona Cardinals job back in 2023.

The Titans picked Chiefs executive Mike Borgonzi as their next general manager Friday. That means that Bears assistant GM Ian Cunningham won’t get the job. Twice in the past three years, he’s been a finalist for the Titans’ GM job.

Ian Cunningham will remain with the Chicago Bears for the 2025 season. Cunningham has received multiple interviews for general manager positions over the last few years, but he has yet to be hired into a general manager role.
