After ‘Dravida’ omitted from State Anthem, MK Stalin urges Centre to recall Tamil Nadu Governor
The Tamil anthem, Tamil Thaai Vazhthu, is traditionally sung at the start of every government program, and the term ‘Dravida’ primarily pertains to the racial identity of the people in the southern states. During the anthem’s rendition by the group from Doordarshan, the line containing this word was omitted.
