The Browns' quarterback competition took a turn this weekend when Kenny Pickett injured his hamstring in practice.

The Cleveland Browns brought in Joe Flacco and Kenny Pickett this offseason. Apart from them, the addition of rookies Shedeur Sanders and Dillon Gabriel in this year's draft established a four-way contest for the team's starting quarterback job. However, things took an unexpected turn for Pickett during camp.

As Pickett's mobility advantage vanishes with injury setback, a rapidly shifting competition may have reached a tipping point.

There is still an ongoing discussion if Dillon Gabriel or Shedeur Sanders should start. ESPN's Mike Tannenbaum believes Sanders should be the starter.
