It’s an early-season shocker in the college basketball world as Miami men’s basketball head coach Jim Larranaga has stepped down from his position, according to the Miami Herald. Larranaga leaves Miami after guiding the school to a shocking Final Four appearance just two years ago.

UM is off to a 4-8 start following a 78-74 overtime loss to Mount St. Mary’s on Dec. 21. The Hurricanes have lost eight of their previous nine games.
