One of Caitlin Clark's newest teammates won't even get the chance to catch regular season assists from the Indiana Fever superstar. The Fever made their final preseason cut on Tuesday with the regular season opening at the end of the week.

Ahead of the WNBA season opener against the Chicago Sky, new Indiana Fever head coach Stephanie White has made a tough decision to cut Caitlin Clark's teammate ahead of the roster deadline

Cunningham, who spent her first six years in the WNBA with the Phoenix Mercury, was acquired by Indiana as part of a four-team deal. In the same trade, the Fever added guard Jaelyn Brown from the Dallas Wings. Indiana notably gave up the No. 8 pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft and forward NaLyssa Smith.
