Iran's foreign minister warned Israel against launching an attack, saying on Tuesday any strike on Iranian infrastructure would be met with a stronger retaliation.

As Israelis commemorated the Oct. 7 attack that led to the war in the Gaza Strip, Hamas launched a rare rocket attack at Tel Aviv, saying it was targeting “the depths of the occupation.” The rocket strike did little damage, and hours later, Israel responded with what it said was an attack on the rocket launcher that had fired the projectiles.

The Iranian government has warned Israel against launching a counter-attack for the Islamic Republic's missile attack last week. Government's spokeswoman Fatemeh Mohajerani told the Iranian news agency IRNA on Monday that Iran will not stop upholding its right to self-defence.
