WINNIPEG, Jan. 15, 2025 – The Winnipeg Jets Hockey Club announced today they have acquired defenceman Isaak Phillips from the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for defenceman Dmitry Kuzmin.
The Chicago Blackhawks have made a minor league deal with the Winnipeg Jets and traded defenseman Isaak Phillips in exchange for Dmitry Kuzmin.
On Sunday, Phillips was stripped of the puck behind the Moose net early on, directly leading to the game-winning goal when Alex Nylander went up top on Kaapo Kahkonen at 3:38 of the first period.
Phillips was traded to the Jets from the Blackhawks on Wednesday in exchange for Dmitry Kuzmin, Scott Powers of The Athletic reports.
