Firefighters spent around 20 minutes stabilizing the structure to free the dog and, with the help of some “good old coaxing by the home’s owner,” Brandy the dog emerged.
Washington Gas released a statement Tuesday night, saying: "Washington Gas is aware of the incident in Haymarket, Virginia. Our personnel responded to assist the fire department on the scene.
A home explosion in Haymarket, Virginia is currently under investigation. FOX 5's Shomari Stone spoke with Jarrett Struniak, a father who was renting the home, about the blast.
