The Haryana Assembly poll outcome has come as a blow to the Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which hoped to make a mark in the elections. The party drew a blank so far with its senior vice president of the state unit Anurag Dhanda is among those set to suffer a big defeat.

The AAP lacked proper organisational structure in Haryana while preparing for the election which many believe that it could have impacted the party's performance in the elections.

Arvind Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party has failed to make any inroads in Haryana. AAP, which contested the Haryana assembly elections alone after it could not stich an alliance with the Congress, could not manage to win any seat in the state assembly.

The Aam Aadmi Party failed to make a mark in the Haryana assembly election as none of its candidates in the 90 seats are leading. Contrary to exit poll predictions, the Bharatiya Janata Party is leading in close to 50 of the 90 assembly seats.

It was a bittersweet day for the Aam Aadmi Party. As the Election Commission figures indicated that it may not win even a single seat in Haryana, the party found its silver lining in Jammu and Kashmir.
