A Texas man has been executed for the killing of a Dallas area pastor who was attacked in his church during a robbery.

A man convicted of murdering a woman after breaking into her apartment is set to be executed Thursday evening in Alabama.

This is not in any way lessening due process for those who are convicted and are facing the death penalty,” said Rep. Bruce Skaug, R-Nampa, the bill’s lead sponsor.
