Ferry passengers were stranded for hours on Monday when a vessel suffered a mechanical failure on its way to Horseshoe Bay.

Brian Demmings, a runner from Rothesay, recently completed the Arizona Monster 300, an ultra marathon through the Sonoran Desert, in just under six days.
