Beyoncé Knowles-Carter took the stage at NRG Stadium on Christmas Day performing the halftime show at the Houston Texans vs. Baltimore Ravens game. The 32-time Grammy-winning artist began the performance by singing "16 Carriages" while riding a white horse into the stadium.

"It is mind-boggling to me that you would take your precious Christmas day and watch a performance of someone you hate and you don’t think has talent so that you can go talk ish about it later," she wrote.

Instead, Beyoncé was joined by backup dancers—including daughter Blue Ivy Carter, who got a shoutout in the lyrics to one of her songs—and a marching band, plus Post Malone and Shaboozey. That was during the live part of the performance because there was also a pre-recorded intro set in the stadium tunnels,

With months of buildup, the event — tagged #BeyonceBowl on social media — set a new standard for music, sports and holiday celebrations.
