The Louise Riley Library is the latest to receive an Early Learning Centre (ELC), joining 14 other libraries across Calgary.
The Calgary Public Library opened its 14th 'early learning centre' (ELC) on Monday at the Louise Riley branch. The centres are play areas designed for kids five and under, each with a different theme.
More than $3.5 million in improvements will include a glassy new exterior, technology upgrades, a reading garden, classrooms and meeting spaces.
