Maurene Comey, daughter of ex-FBI Director James Comey, was fired from the Manhattan US Attorney’s Office after nearly a decade. Known for prosecuting Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, and Diddy, her dismissal remains unexplained.

Maurene Comey told colleagues in a farewell email that she was fired as a federal prosecutor without being told a reason but urged them not to succumb to the "fear" she said her termination could cause.

The decision to dismiss Comey was delivered as the Justice Department faces renewed scrutiny over its handling of the sex offender's case.
