Eagles fans will hear a familiar voice when they tune in to watch the Birds’ playoff game Sunday. Mike Tirico, in his third year as the voice of Sunday Night Football, will be in the booth at the Linc to call the Eagles’ divisional round matchup against the Los Angeles Rams Sunday on NBC.

Tirico to Serve as Lead Play-By-Play Voice for NBC Sports’ NBA Coverage Beginning with 2025-26 Season; Previously Called NBA Games for ESPN from 2002-2016
Let’s go, Orange! S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications graduate Mike Tirico, who called NBA games for ESPN from 2002-16, is returning to NBA coverage as NBC Sports’ lead play-by-play voice, when NBC and Peacock’s coverage of pro hoops tips off this October.
Tirico, who joined NBC in 2016, also leads coverage of the network’s NFL, Olympics, and golf programming. He previously worked at ESPN, where NBA play-by-play was one of his responsibilities. NBC will have multiple games per week after the football season ends, so it will have multiple broadcast teams.
