Ball (injury management) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against Atlanta.

Returning from 10-game absence

Ball (rest) will not play Sunday against Portland. Sunday's game is the first leg of a back-to-back set, so presumably, Ball will be available for Monday's game against the Clippers. Ayo Dosunmu is likely to see extended minutes Sunday with Ball on the sidelines.

Iffy for Sunday

The Bulls guard has no idea what the front office has in store for the Feb. 6 trade deadline, but whether the team stays intact or changes, what Dosunmu would like to see is a return to consistency with the little things.

Ball will keep sitting out a game in back-to-backs. But his minutes have climbed, and coach Billy Donovan says he has been a full participant in practices and shootarounds between games.

Dosunmu (calf) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game versus the Hawks.
