Weather warnings issued across Wales for strong winds and heavy rain

A yellow weather warning for strong winds which could cause some short-term loss of power has been issued for Wales. West and north Wales are expected to bear the brunt, with the warning in place from 22:00 GMT on Monday until 16:00 on Tuesday, the Met Office has said.

Map shows where snow could fall in North Wales as stormy weather arrives

Snow has been forecast for parts of North Wales, according to Met Office weather maps. It will predominantly affect higher ground in Gwynedd, in the early hours of tomorrow (Saturday), with further flurries extending to other parts including around Blaenau Ffestiniog and Bala, as Saturday progresses the latest charts predict.
