World number one Jannik Sinner and hot rival Carlos Alcaraz will face off in a major final for the fourth time this season after both booked straight-set wins into the title match at the ATP-WTA Cincinnati Open on Saturday.

The Frenchman and ATP world No. 136 heading into the tournament made an improbable run to the semifinal where he earned a date with world No. 1 Jannik Sinner on Saturday. The match happened to fall on Sinner's 24th birthday, and Atmane came prepared with a gift for his opponent.

Before the two took to the court for their Cincinnati semifinal, the Frenchman gave Sinner a Pikachu card in honor of his 24th birthday.

Terence Atmane appears to be in disbelief over his fairytale Cincinnati Masters run as the world No. 136 says all of this feels "insane" to him and admits he is also thrilled about his big payday.
