Chennai: A distorted version of the Tamil Nadu State anthem rendered at a DD Tamil official event blew up into a major row between Governor R N Ravi and Chief Minister M K Stalin on Friday. The Governor charged that Stalin had made a “racist remark” against him.

The governor attended an event organised by the public broadcaster where the word ‘Dravida’ was omitted while singing the state song.

The DMK supremo called it an insult to the state and the Tamil language, and demanded from the Centre to immediately remove Ravi, saying that he suffers from 'Dravidian allergy'.
