Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, in the presence of Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates, Dr. Badr Abdel-Atty. The Spokesman for the Presidency, Ambassador Ahmed Fahmy, said the meeting focused on the current regional developments.

Tensions are high in anticipation of the nature of an expected Israeli attack on Iran in retaliation for Iran's missile attack on Oct. 1. That followed a rapidly spiralling conflict between Israel and Iranian-backed Hezbollah in Lebanon.
