Saber Interactive will roll back a series of changes made to Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 that were poorly received by players.

In response to widespread backlash, Saber Interactive has reversed several controversial changes introduced in the last Space Marine 2 update.

Last week, Space Marine 2's 4.0 update arrived and many players weren’t happy about it. While the free patch did add a new mission, it also made the co-op third-person shooter much, much harder in some annoying ways.

Space Marine 2 released an update to the third-person shooter that reverts some tough difficulty changes made in patch 4.0.

The new update nerfed certain boss tactics and introduced a new Lethality difficulty that tries to force squads to stay close together.

Space Marine 2 developer Saber Interactive has announced Update 4.1, set to hit the game on October 24, and detailed its patch notes. Update 4.1 follows hot on the heels of last week’s controversial Update 4.
