Novak Djokovic recovered from an alarming scare to book his place in the quarter-finals of Wimbledon in front of his old rival Roger Federer. Djokovic produced what John McEnroe described as ‘his worst set in years’ as Alex de Minaur won a one-sided opener 6-1 in 30 minutes.

Novak Djokovic lifted the 'curse' put on him by Roger Federer by winning in front of the Swiss on Centre Court. Eight-time Wimbledon winner Djokovic made it through to the quarter-finals with a hard-fought win over Alex de Minaur on Monday after being trounced in the opening set.
