Nineteen-year-old Connor Zilisch is thankfully on the mend and "grateful to be walking" after breaking his collarbone over the weekend, the NASCAR driver said on the most recent episode of the Door Bumper Clear podcast (via USA Today ).

NASCAR Xfinity Series points leader Connor Zilisch had surgery this week to repair a broken collarbone suffered in a fall while celebrating a win last weekend.

Connor Zilisch admitted that his injury could require surgery, and opened up on the injury advice from his teammate Shane van Gisbergen.
