It was a familiar script for the Blue Jackets, as they wasted another third-period lead and lost in overtime to the Red Wings on Saturday.
But a spirited comeback capped by Alex DeBrincat’s goal at 1:50 overtime lifted them to a 4-3 victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets at Little Caesars Arena. The Red Wings are 13-8-1 while the Blue Jackets dropped to 11-8-3. Cam Talbot made 30 saves to improve to 9-2-0.

DeBrincat drove down wing, then fired a shot over the shoulder of goaltender Jet Greaves for DeBrincat's 10th goal, as the Wings overcame a 3-1 third-period deficit.
