Marriott Rewards received an overall customer satisfaction score of 707 on a 1,000-point scale, according to the first hotel-program survey by market research company J.D. Power.
In advance of the official merger on Aug. 18, Marriott said, it added customer service representatives and trained some of its existing call center workers to handle an expected influx of calls.
Cash & Points: This one seems like a no-brainer, but beginning in the early months of 2016, Marriott Rewards members will be able to redeem bookings using a blend of points and cash.
