Houston Airport Marriott at George Bush Intercontinental began the New Year with a big celebration, designating the completion of its dramatic multimillion-dollar renovation of the 573-room hotel.

When Bush Intercontinental opened in 1969, it entered into an agreement with Host to build the hotel. The Marriott opened in 1972 with 337 guest rooms and 275 parking spaces.
