The Google Pixel 9 Pro XL is sending an unnerving amount of user data back to Google, according to a new report. According to Cybernews, the flagship device is sending back data packets containing personal information like location and network status up to every 15 minutes.

The tech giant has refuted claims that Pixel phones provide it with user location, network status, and other identifying information in addition to accessing services without user consent.

An investigation raised alarms about the Pixel 9 Pro XL potentially sharing sensitive user data with Google, even before apps are installed. Researchers found that the phone sends personal info, like location and email,
