Now, Google 's making it easier to deal with them on Android -based devices. There's a new app up for download in the Android Market these days: Google Docs for Android.

Opening a document in the Google Docs app will launch in edit mode immediately, where you can start typing immediately instead of having to first tap the pencil FAB in the bottom-right corner.

Google Slides, Google’s presentation App, is expected to follow in the near future. Both Docs and Sheets are available for free now from the respective platform App stores.
