The FBI has issued a warning to citizens about a form of cyberattack that can use old internet routers to access personal networks. The agency said that "end-of-life" routers that had stopped receiving updates from the manufacturers could be open to exploitation from criminals, who can use the vulnerabilities to place malware on private devices.
